It all started with a Schnauzer. My love for this precious family, that is! With our large Schnauzer crew at home, it was a pleasure to meet a family whose love for the breed was just as ours!
We had four and a half months to plan a romantic, slightly retro, artsy, family- based, faith-oriented wedding day for 350. Jenn beamed with joy at every meeting and Zac was very detailed in his expectations...for Jenn to have her perfect day!
Planning was going pefectly until ten days before the wedding, the family was dealt a true family emergency when Jenn's dad had to undergo a very serious surgery. By the grace of God, her father was ready on wedding day to walk his daughter down the aisle and dance to a favorite song!
Wedding day was cool and crisp while the bridal party got ready at a private residence. The congregation swooned as Jenn walked down the aisle and teared up as both sets of parents came to the front to pray a blessing over their children's union while holding their wedding bands. The joy of these two upon first look was immeasurable, but the look upon their faces as they departed the aisle as man and wife was a moment a planner lives for; awe-struck and so ecstatic to be married!
This fun party danced the night away on delicious Chef Diva treats to the sounds of local favorites, The Liz Wood Project.
The departure was one to be remembered, as the custom classic car a family friend loaned as a wedding gift wasn't quite up to the quickly falling temperature! However, being one of ten had its perks as Zac's brothers and groomsmen rushed to push the car down the antiqued cobblestone road in true family fashion!

When we first met with Catherine and her mom, Peggy, a spring wedding full of sentimental touches and perfect flowers was their request. With their venue booked, they moved quickly to secure the details of the day. Little did we know it would all change 6 weeks before wedding day!
Catherine & Dean were selected to be a feature couple for J&D Farm's new collaboration with David Austin Roses. This meant all the decor details would need to change to accommodate the beautiful garden roses that would now make up most of their floral displays. Mandy from Hot House Designs rallied with her design vision for a perfect southern-rustic-romantic day! She and her team wove together over 1,200 roses in a way that not only showcased the beautiful flowers, but created a wedding dream for Catherine, Dean and their guests!
With the rain alternating between a light drizzle and monsoon for two days, nerves were on edge as we waited to see if the back up plan was needed. But, when wedding photos rolled around for Catherine and Dean the skies parted and the sun beamed through the orchard for the most beautiful ceremony officiated by the groom's father and grandfather!
Once the couple was happily married everyone join together in the architecturally-stunning barn for one amazing party. Second Coming Band carried the night with everything from group sing-a-longs to a fully-packed dance floor! The delicious buffet by Happy Catering and yummy cake by Edible Memories by Lorraine were devoured by the delighted guests!
As the night came to a close Catherine and Dean said their family goodbyes and departed under cafe lighting and sparklers.
We wish you both all the joy in the world!

Stefani and Kevin were a designer's dream. With mint, gold, peach, coral and a love of pattern we were off to create a fun and boho day in two of the town's most perfect locations: The Cultural Arts Center Courtyard and The Pitman Theatre!
Wedding day brought us a threat of weather up until minutes before the ceremony the rain flooded in and out. Miraculously, as we prepped to go down the hidden courtyard passage to the aisle the skies parted and the most beautiful sun beamed through the trees as Stefanie walked down the aisle to meet her love!
The intimate ceremony was followed by a reception full of personal details from monogrammed pilsners to marquee letters on the stage built by the bride's father. The couple danced and visited with their closest friends and family the entire evening.
We were blessed to work with this couple that loved the quirks of life as much as we do!
